Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Location Planner web application, you agree to these Terms of Use.

Description of Service

Location Planner is a web-based application that allows users to:

• Upload digital plans and PDFs
• Place sign IDs on plans
• Generate legends and message schedules
• Export project documentation
• Manage organization-based user accounts

We reserve the right to modify features at any time.

Account Structure

Organization Admin Accounts

Admins may:

• Invite users
• View all projects under their organization
• Delete user accounts under their organization
• Delete their own account

Invited Users

Invited users:

• Operate under an Admin account
• Cannot delete their own account
• Must request deletion from their Admin

Free Trial

We offer a free trial (currently three days of full access, no credit card required) so you can evaluate the Service. The homepage also includes a limited demo session that does not require an account.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue trial access at any time.

Subscription, Billing & Fulfillment

Fulfillment / Delivery

Location Planner is a digital software service. Access is provisioned immediately and automatically upon successful payment — there is nothing to ship. If you cannot access the Service after purchase, contact hello@locationplanner.org and we will resolve it or refund the charge.

Billing

• Payments are processed through Stripe. We do not store card details.
• Subscriptions are billed per seat, monthly or annually, and renew automatically until canceled.
• Adding seats mid-cycle is prorated by Stripe.
• Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination.

Cancellation

• You may cancel anytime from Settings → Manage Billing (Stripe customer portal).
• Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the paid billing period.

Refund Policy

• Refunds are available within two (2) days of purchase — email hello@locationplanner.org.
• After two days, no refunds will be issued for services rendered; unused time after cancellation is not refunded.

Acceptable Use

Users may not:

• Reverse engineer the software
• Attempt unauthorized access
• Upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious content
• Disrupt system performance

Intellectual Property

All software, interface design, and proprietary functionality are owned by Location Planner LLC.

Users retain ownership of their uploaded files and project content.

Service Availability

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
• We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or interruptions.

Warranty Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOCATION PLANNER LLC DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that output (schedules, legends, exports) is free of errors — you are responsible for reviewing exported documentation before relying on it. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Location Planner LLC shall not be liable for:

• Indirect or consequential damages
• Lost profits
• Project errors resulting from user input
• Loss of business opportunities

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid in the preceding 30 days.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Non-payment
• Abuse of the Service

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
